Torre di Chiusi, today Torrecuso, is in the
province of Benevento, it is the" country which is
generous dellŽaglianico", heart of the production of
the Aglianico del Taburno.
The country, of origin longobarda, develops along a
rocky spur, situated among the oriental slopes of
the Pentime mountain and the northern slope
of the mountain San Michele, along the left
bank of the river Calore, into a noted territory,
both for the wine production of the Aglianico, and
for the beautiful landscapes offered to us by the
mountains.
Torrecuso preserves a whole series of side streets
and little uphill streets, almost parallel to these
streets that lead you into wide and in picturesque
angles of arcs that delimit them and for the
characteristic cottages made in stone that are
adorned by staircases.
To visit the parish Church of Sant'Erasmo,
the church devoted to the Saint Annunziata,
the church of
San Liberatore and the Foeniculum bridge
(XIII century.).
